MEET SOFIA ENNAOUI who will be competing in the IAAF World Junior Championships in Eugene, Oregon and blogging here at Youthrunner.com as she prepares for the trip and the competition.

These are Sofia Ennaoui in 800 m Both of them with personal best. Sofia won her race after impressive finish in 2.03.00 time.

She is more known in athletics and she is able to fight for the medals in Eugene. She is silver medallist from EJCh in Rieti 2013 in 1500 m (4.20,20) and silver too at the European Cross Country Champs in Belgrade 2013 (junior race, 13.16). Also 10th in Barcelona 2012 WJCh at 1500m (4.15,23). She was also competing in IAAF WXC in 2013 in Bydgoszcz which our Youth Runner Magazine photographer Stephen Klotz was enjoying.

She was born on 30th of August in 1995 in Bin Dzarir in Morocco.

She said after her race in Bydgoszcz: My aim is medal at World Juniors in Eugene but also a qualification in 800 and 1500 metres for seniors European Championships in Zurych
